Liz Lynne MEP with Mary Marsh, Chief Executive and Director of the NSPCC

Speaking after an event organised by the NSPCC in Brussels, Liz Lynne MEP for the West Midlands said,

"With 10 new countries coming into the European Union next year it is now even more important that child protection is seen as a priority.

"Paedophiles and other people who seek to exploit children should find no hiding place in the European Union. That is why I am pleased to support the NSPCC in their bid to highlight the abuse of children across Europe and the applicant countries."
